Photo by Philip Cosores Kings of Leon have extended their 2017 North American tour to include both spring and summer dates. In continued support of new album WALLS, the 25-city jaunt consists of two separate North American legs, each following short stints in Europe. The first takes place in April and May, with Deerhunter (again) as opener; the second runs from late July through the end of August and will feature folk songwriter Nathaniel Rateliff in the opening slot. Among KoL's numerous stops: Chicago, Phoenix, New Orleans, Atlanta, Austin, Toronto, and Cincinnati. Consult the band's full itinerary below. Dev Hynes (Blood Orange) has announced VeilHymn, a new group featuring himself and Bryndon Cook (Starchild & the New Romantic). Cook previously toured with Hynes and appeared on last year's excellent Blood Orange album Freetown Sound.
